Visa Assistance
If you require assistance in obtaining a travel Visa you must submit an abstract and be registered and paid in full for the conference. Requests for assistance submitted before March 15th, 2024, will be answered expeditiously. After March 15th, 2024, the turnaround time may be slower, as conference organizers are dealing with multiple schedules.

Financial Assistance
Travel stipends are available for students or postdoctoral associates based on the quality of their scientific contribution to the meeting. Determinations of travel stipends are at the discretion of the Symposium Chair and/or their Organizing Committee. Funding for travel stipends has been generously provided by our supporters. Decisions about travel stipends are made depending on priorities, the number of requests and the available funding.
Deadline Passed
The deadline for financial stipends has passed. We are no longer offering travel stipends for the 2024 conference. Please use this section as a rough guide to what assistance will be available next year, although options may change.
To apply for a travel stipend, you must first submit an abstract for consideration of an oral presentation or poster presentation. Once your abstract has been submitted, you can then apply for a travel stipend. Please have the following available when submitting your travel stipend request:
- Special URL Access Link e-mailed to you after you submitted your abstract (visit the Govital abstract submission page↗︎, enter your e-mail address in the Resend Access Link section, then click the Resend button, to recover your Special URL Access Link if needed)
- Short statement explaining the need for support
- Letter of recommendation from your advisor
The deadline for funding requests is April 1st, 2024. NO REQUESTS FOR SUPPORT WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER THIS DATE.
EPR & ssNMR Travel Stipends
Two types of award are available:
- Student award: Registration reimbursement plus up to $400 toward travel expenses
- Postdoctoral award: Registration reimbursement plus up to $300 toward travel expenses
