Dear EPR Spectroscopists:

In August we learned that the biennial International Society of Magnetic Resonance (ISMAR) meeting was scheduled to be held on July 23 – 28, 2017, in Quebec City, Canada and that the organizers had committed to a strong EPR component of the meeting. These are the same dates that were set for the 2017 Rocky Mountain Conference on Magnetic Resonance two years ago. Given the small size of the EPR community, it was decided that it was wiser to have a combined strong meeting rather than two competing meetings.  We are pleased to report that the 2017 Rocky Mountain Conference on EPR spectroscopy will be held jointly with ISMAR 2017 in Quebec City from July 23 – 28, 2017. To accommodate the additional needs of the RMC-EPR group, a fifth parallel session was added to the ISMAR meeting. When combined with the ISMAR sessions already allotted for EPR, we will be able to develop a scientific program with a mix of talks from established researchers and students that has come to characterize our annual conference in Colorado.

For 2018 the Rocky Mountain Conference will be back in the mountains, meeting July 22 – 26, 2018 at the Snowbird Resort & Conference Center in Snowbird, Utah.

The ISMAR 2017 website can be viewed at www.ismar2017.org.  While the registration costs for the meeting have not been set, preliminary numbers suggest that they will be comparable to those of the Rocky Mountain Conference and that the fees for student attendees will be reasonable. The organizers have indicated that the website will be open for abstract submission and registration in late November. We look forward to seeing you in Quebec City this summer!

Best wishes,
